This article synthesizes findings from 2024\u20132025 peer-reviewed studies to explore how COVID-19 affects the brain, the mechanisms involved, and current therapeutic strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>COVID-19 was developed as a bioweapon, but is still being investigated <strong>by peer-reviewed scientific evidence<\/strong>, but here is what\u2019s publicly known about the roles of Ralph Baric, Peter Daszak, and their collaborations with the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), as well as concerns about China\u2019s military involvement in biological research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83e\uddea Ralph Baric\u2019s Role<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ralph Baric<\/strong> is a virologist at the University of North Carolina who has studied coronaviruses for decades.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He co-authored a 2015 paper with <strong>Shi Zhengli<\/strong> of the WIV that involved creating a <strong>chimeric virus<\/strong> using a bat coronavirus spike protein and a mouse-adapted SARS backbone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This research was part of <strong>gain-of-function studies<\/strong>, which aim to understand how viruses might evolve to infect humans.
