{"id":7972,"date":"2023-10-21T16:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-10-21T20:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cov19longhaulfoundation.org\/?p=7972"},"modified":"2023-10-21T16:00:00","modified_gmt":"2023-10-21T20:00:00","slug":"an-admission-of-epic-proportions-health-canada-confirms-dna-plasmid-contamination-of-covid-vaccines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cov19longhaulfoundation.org\/?p=7972","title":{"rendered":"\u2018An Admission of Epic Proportions\u2019: Health Canada Confirms DNA Plasmid Contamination of COVID Vaccines"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Health Canada on Thursday confirmed the presence of DNA contamination in Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines and also confirmed that Pfizer did not disclose the contamination to the public health authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><strong>By&nbsp;Michael Nevradakis, Ph.D.<\/strong>  October 21, 2023  <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/canada-dna-contamination-pfizer-covid-vaccine\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/canada-dna-contamination-pfizer-covid-vaccine\/\">The Defender<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In what one scientist described as an \u201cadmission of epic proportions,\u201d Health Canada on Thursday confirmed the presence of DNA contamination in Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines, and also confirmed that Pfizer did not disclose the contamination to the public health authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/covid-vaccines-dna-contamination\/\">DNA contamination<\/a>&nbsp;includes the Simian Virus 40 (SV40) promoter and enhancer Pfizer did not previously disclose and that some experts say is a cancer risk due to potential integration with the human genome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Health Canada, the country\u2019s public health authority,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/world\/exclusive-health-canada-confirms-undisclosed-presence-of-dna-sequence-in-pfizer-shot-5513277\">told The Epoch Times<\/a>&nbsp;that while Pfizer provided the full DNA sequences of the plasmid in its vaccine at the time of the initial submission, the vaccine maker \u201cdid not specifically identify the SV40 sequence.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHealth Canada expects sponsors to identify any biologically functional DNA sequences within a plasmid (such as an SV40 enhancer) at the time of submission,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Health Canada\u2019s admission came after two scientists,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/medicinalgenomics.com\/team\/kevin-mckernan\/\">Kevin McKernan<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sc.edu\/study\/colleges_schools\/pharmacy\/faculty-staff\/buckhaults_phillip.php\">Phillip J. Buckhaults, Ph.D.<\/a>, discovered the presence of bacterial&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/covid-vaccines-dna-contamination\/\">plasmid DNA in the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines<\/a>&nbsp;at levels potentially 18-70 times higher than the limits set by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Medicines Agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They tested four expired Pfizer and Moderna vaccine vials \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/world\/exclusive-health-canada-confirms-undisclosed-presence-of-dna-sequence-in-pfizer-shot-5513277\">thought to only contain mRNA<\/a>\u201d and found to contain \u201cdouble-stranded DNA plasmids.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Health Canada said, \u201cWe have concluded that the risk\/benefit profile continues to support the use of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine,\u201d and that it does rely on manufacturer claims but \u201cconducts an in-depth independent review\u201d to make sure the vaccines meet \u201cour high standards for safety, efficacy and quality.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.toxicologysupport.com\/about-us\/\">Janci Lindsay, Ph.D.<\/a>, director of toxicology and molecular biology for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.toxicologysupport.com\/\">Toxicology Support Services<\/a>, told The Defender this statement is \u201csilly, not believable and not defendable,\u201d adding that \u201cWe should not have to do the research that they should have done.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhy are the FDA, CDC [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] and the mainstream media still silent about this?\u201d asked&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kirschsubstack.com\/p\/ok-you-were-right-we-admit-vaccine\">Steve Kirsch<\/a>, founder of the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/vacsafety.org\/\">Vaccine Safety Research Foundation<\/a>, adding that \u201cthe mainstream medical community is silent as well.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Viral immunologist&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/benchtobedside.uoguelph.ca\/dr-byram-bridle\/\">Dr. Byram Bridle<\/a>&nbsp;of the University of Guelph in Canada, commenting on Health Canada\u2019s admission wrote on his&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/viralimmunologist.substack.com\/p\/explosive-story-health-canada-admits\">Substack<\/a>, \u201cThis is an admission of epic proportions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bridle also wrote:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOne must wonder why Pfizer would not disclose the presence of a biologically functional DNA sequence to a health regulator. Pfizer was required to disclose to health regulatory agencies all of the bioactive sequences in the bacterial plasmid DNA that they used to manufacture their shots.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The contamination \u201cwould have been discovered sooner by independent researchers, but people were threatened with arrest if they supplied vials for analysis,\u201d Kirsch said, claiming he faced threats if he \u201cparticipated in trying to analyze the vials.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bridle noted that it\u2019s been \u201c818 total days\u201d since the University of Guelph banned him from accessing his office and laboratory for attempting to conduct similar research, while other researchers \u201chave been the focus of attacks from many so-called \u2018misinformation experts,\u2019\u201d even though none \u201chave been able to refute their findings.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Plasmid DNA contamination \u2018an ongoing problem\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Immunologist, biologist and biochemist&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JesslovesMJK\/\">Jessica Rose, Ph.D.<\/a>, told&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/\">The Defender<\/a>, \u201cResidual DNA has been found in the Pfizer and Moderna \u2014 and more so Pfizer \u2014 products, in older and newer vials, including the adult monovalent&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/news-events\/press-announcements\/fda-takes-action-updated-mrna-covid-19-vaccines-better-protect-against-currently-circulating\">XBB.1.5<\/a>&nbsp;[vaccine].\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rose said this indicates such contamination \u201cis an ongoing problem.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In separate remarks made Wednesday on CHD.TV\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/live.childrenshealthdefense.org\/chd-tv\/shows\/good-morning-chd\/pfizer-lied-people-died-whistleblower-case-update--legal-panel\/\">Good Morning CHD<\/a>,\u201d Rose said that McKernan \u201ceven looked at the Janssen [Johnson &amp; Johnson vaccine] and discovered residual DNA at very high levels.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rose said&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=IEWHhrHiiTY\">Buckhaults<\/a>&nbsp;initially \u201cset out to prove [McKernan] wrong\u201d but instead ended up replicating his findings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPlasmid DNA is used in the manufacturing of mRNA vaccines and is supposed to be removed to a level below a threshold set by health regulatory agencies before the final product is released for distribution,\u201d The Epoch Times reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>McKernan\u2019s discovery made it \u201cpossible for Health Canada to confirm the presence of the enhancer based on the plasmid DNA sequence submitted by Pfizer against the published SV40 enhancer sequence,\u201d Health Canada said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Health Canada\u2019s revelation came on the same day a new&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/osf.io\/mjc97\/\">preprint study<\/a>&nbsp;by Kernan, Rose and others provided more evidence of COVID-19 vaccine contamination in vials from Ontario, Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The paper also presented evidence that Pfizer vaccines used during clinical trials differed from those made available to and administered to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SV40 can \u2018potentially integrate into the human genome\u2019 \u2014 \u2018forever\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SV40 is frequently used in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/10528223\/\">gene therapy<\/a>&nbsp;for its unique ability to deliver genes to targeted cells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the vaccine manufacturing process, SV40 \u201cis used as an enhancer to drive gene transcription,\u201d The Epoch Times wrote. McKernan last month \u201cwarned that the presence of DNA plasmids in the vaccines mean[s] they could potentially&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/world\/exclusive-health-canada-not-concerned-about-scientists-finding-of-plasmid-dna-contamination-in-covid-shots-5449394\">integrate into the human genome<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Describing McKernan\u2019s research as \u201cunimpeachable,\u201d&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kirschsubstack.com\/p\/ok-you-were-right-we-admit-vaccine\">Kirsch wrote<\/a>&nbsp;on his Substack, \u201cDNA lasts forever, and if it integrates into your genome, you will produce its product forever.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christofplothedo.com\/english-1\/\">Christof Plothe, D.O.<\/a>, a member of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/covid-vaccines-dna-contamination\/\">World Council for Health<\/a>\u2019s steering committee, told The Defender the presence of SV40 is \u201cproblematic in terms of unwanted immunological reactions and potential integration into the genome, with resulting DNA damage and alteration ability, which can lead to cancer\u201d and \u201cmany side effects.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis should not be in the vials, as they pose the risk of integrating their genetic information into cells of our microbiome or any cell of our body,\u201d Plothe said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis can result in the newly programmed cell reproducing and producing mRNA with the resulting spike proteins for an unknown time, potentially forever and even to the next generation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Charlene Bollinger, founder of&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thetruthaboutvaccines.com\/\">The Truth About Vaccines<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thetruthaboutcancer.com\/\">The Truth About Cancer<\/a>&nbsp;said, \u201cMy question is not only why did Pfizer hide the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender_category\/covid\/\">COVID-19<\/a>&nbsp;vaccine ingredient list, but also, was the Pfizer COVID-19 shot designed to create \u2018turbo cancers\u2019?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have been warning about the harm these vaccines have been causing,\u201d she told The Defender. \u201cSadly, it seems we were quite accurate all along.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.crchudequebec.ulaval.ca\/en\/research\/researchers\/patrick-provost\/\">Patrick Provost, Ph.D.<\/a>, professor of microbiology and immunology at Laval University in Canada, told The Epoch Times \u201cAll it takes is a single integration [of SV40] at the wrong place in a single cell to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/world\/exclusive-health-canada-confirms-undisclosed-presence-of-dna-sequence-in-pfizer-shot-5513277\">initiate a cancerous process<\/a>&nbsp;and kill a person.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>McKernan told The Epoch Times that because Pfizer\u2019s vaccines already contain the same type of promoter as the one used in Moderna\u2019s vaccine, the inclusion of the SV40 promoter was \u201ccompletely redundant\u201d and \u201call risk, no reward.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lindsay confirmed this in remarks shared with The Defender, adding that the DNA plasmids are nevertheless harmful even without SV40 present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s very important to note that SV40 elements are not needed for the plasmids to be a problem, as they can integrate without SV40 because of special proteins inside the cell, if they get into the cell that will carry them into the nucleus, where they can then integrate into the genome. The SV40 sequences are just an extra boost,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lindsay said that multiple sequences of SV40 were identified, including \u201cthe SV40 origin of replication, the SV40 promoter and the SV40 enhancer, which contains a nuclear targeting sequence which takes the DNA payload straight to the nucleus.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lindsay questioned why Health Canada did not address the presence of the other two SV40 sequences. \u201cWhat about the other two sequences? No mention of them?\u201d she said. \u201cEvery other scientist has found them. [Is Health Canada] trying to downplay this?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Contamination can lead to cancer, anaphylaxis and other severe reactions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Bridle, some potential problems involving DNA contamination include that it can be very long-lasting, has the potential to be incorporated into a person\u2019s chromosomes and can cause inflammation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rose told The Defender the contamination \u201cis problematic in terms of unwanted immunological reactions and potential integration, DNA damage and alteration ability.\u201d \u201cThis is why we clean it, and lipopolysaccharides, out at the end of the modRNA synthesis workflow that utilizes the plasmid\/E. coli system for DNA upscaling.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking to CHD.TV Wednesday, Rose provided a further explanation, saying that \u201ca plasmid E. coli system\u201d was used to produce \u201ctons of DNA, which is really good when you need to upscale a product,\u201d and which was present in the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines made available to the public \u2014 but not those used in clinical trials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe problem was that at the end of the synthesis process of the modified mRNA, apparently the residual DNA from the plasmids that were used to make this modified mRNA was not cleaned out properly,\u201d she told CHD.TV. \u201cWe\u2019re not supposed to have any relatively high levels of DNA at the end of the purification process.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This may have contributed to the high rate of adverse reactions, Rose said. \u201cThis is an endotoxin. \u2026 if you inject endotoxin into a person as part of a product, you can kill them. What usually happens is they get&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhsinform.scot\/illnesses-and-conditions\/immune-system\/anaphylaxis#:~:text=Anaphylaxis%20is%20a%20severe%2C%20potentially,eyes%2C%20lips%2C%20hands%20and%20feet\">anaphylaxis<\/a>. One of the adverse events that we\u2019ve heard a lot of reporting on is anaphylaxis,\u201d a severe allergic reaction, she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEndotoxin injection would induce anaphylaxis and\/or sepsis, and there are tens of thousands of reports of these adverse events in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/vaers.hhs.gov\/\">VAERS<\/a>&nbsp;[Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System] \u2026 not considering underreporting,\u201d Rose added, saying \u201cThis could also be why we\u2019re seeing a lot of cancer,\u201d though direct evidence of this is still lacking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>VAERS has historically been shown to report only&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/digital.ahrq.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/docs\/publication\/r18hs017045-lazarus-final-report-2011.pdf\">1% of actual vaccine adverse events<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativewoman.co.uk\/mrna-vaccines-must-be-banned-once-and-for-all\/\">recent article<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sgul.ac.uk\/profiles\/gus-dalgleish#biography\">Dr. Angus Dalgleish<\/a>, professor of oncology at St. George\u2019s Hospital Medical School in London, said he has observed an increased incidence of cancer after COVID-19 vaccination, including an \u201cepidemic of explosive cancers,\u201d observing possible \u201cDNA plasmid and SV40 integration in promoting cancer development.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, John Beaudoin Sr., author of the forthcoming book, \u201cThe Real CdC \u2014 COVID Facts for Regular People,\u201d told The Defender \u201cDeaths involving secondary malignant cancers of lymph nodes are more than four times normal rates in 2023.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Buckhaults, however, attempted to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/P_J_Buckhaults\/status\/1708543984203939884\">downplay the cancer risk<\/a>, noting that he was skeptical about the connection between \u201cturbo cancers\u201d and the COVID-19 vaccines. Separately, he wrote that SV40 is a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/P_J_Buckhaults\/status\/1668668977512583170\">standard bit of molecular biology engineering<\/a>\u201d that has been \u201cused for decades.\u201d However, he acknowledged it poses a \u201cnon-zero future cancer risk.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mark Johnson, a spokesperson for Health Canada, told The Epoch Times that current data do not show a connection between the vaccines and \u201cturbo cancers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lindsay took issue with this statement, telling The Defender that \u201cseveral oncologists have come out to speak on this,\u201d noting that \u201cwe have seen an increase in the ICD codes that code for cancers\u201d and adding that \u201cthere are all kinds of reports of fast-acting cancers taking people out within days to months of diagnosis.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>McKernan told The Epoch Times there is another cause for concern relating to the presence of SV40 in the COVID-19 vaccines \u2014 namely, the association of SV40 with polio vaccines,\u201d which he said may be the reason Pfizer didn\u2019t disclose its presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SV40, \u201can oncogenic DNA virus, was previously removed from polio vaccines due to concerns about a link to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC3241931\/\">cancers<\/a>&nbsp;\u2026 as the virus was present in monkey kidney cells that were used to grow the vaccine,\u201d The Epoch Times reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe don\u2019t fully know the ramifications of the contamination, but they probably aren\u2019t good, and they could be devastating and irreversible. We don\u2019t know yet because nobody has done the necessary studies,\u201d Kirsch wrote.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Wuhan-Cover-Up-Officials-Conspired-Childrens\/dp\/1510773983\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preprint study highlights undisclosed manufacturing change for public vaccines<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The findings confirmed by Health Canada were further borne out in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/osf.io\/mjc97\/\">preprint study<\/a>&nbsp;where Rose, McKernan and several other scientists address the two different processes used to produce Pfizer\u2019s clinical trial vaccine and the version later distributed to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cProduction of modRNA used in the original Pfizer randomized clinical trial \u2026 utilized a PCR-generated DNA template (Process 1). To generate billions of vaccine doses, this DNA was cloned into a bacterial plasmid vector for amplification in Escherichia coli before linearization (Process 2),\u201d the study notes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, this expanded \u201cthe size and complexity of potential residual DNA\u201d in Process 2 \u2014 the vaccines administered to the public \u2014 and introduced \u201csequences not present in the Process 1 template.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThese data demonstrate the presence of billions to hundreds of billions of DNA molecules per dose in these vaccines,\u201d the study further states, noting that the levels of DNA contaminants exceed thresholds set by the FDA and World Health Organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking to CHD.TV Wednesday,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.law.huji.ac.il\/people\/joshua-guetzkow\">Joshua Guetzkow, Ph.D.<\/a>, senior lecturer at the Hebrew University\u2019s Faculty of Law in Jerusalem, said Pfizer performed a \u201cclassic bait-and-switch\u201d with the COVID-19 vaccine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe first ones were made with PCR,\u201d Guetzkow said, \u201cwhich basically just replicates ant DNA sequence that you give it,\u201d whereas process 2 used E. coli, which he said is \u201cgenerally not good for us,\u201d but to which the plasmid DNA template was added and then grown \u201cby replicating the bacteria.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey cut it up, they lay it out and then they make mRNA with it,\u201d he said. \u201cThen they have to clean all that stuff out \u2026 Not only did they not do a good job at it, but it\u2019s really unclear how well they would be able to \u2026 get it out if they really tried.\u201d He added that \u201cthe methods they use to measure how much endotoxin there is are very unreliable.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Text revealing Pfizer\u2019s two different \u201cprocesses\u201d was buried on page 360 of a 1,413-page&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/phmpt.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/125742_S1_M5_5351_c4591001-fa-interim-protocol.pdf\">document, marked \u201cconfidential\u201d<\/a>&nbsp;and dated Oct. 29, 2020, amending the research protocol for the company\u2019s then-candidate COVID-19 vaccines. It was made public in 2022 as part of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/fda-eight-months-produce-pfizer-safety-data\/\">court-ordered release<\/a>&nbsp;of the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/phmpt.org\/\">Pfizer documents<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe scale of the BNT162b2 manufacturing has been increased to support future supply.
